about us:

Originally formed in 1973 as a conventional repro company, catering for the needs of local print companies such as 'The Bath Press', 'Redwood Press' (printers of the Guinness Book of Records) and 'Purnell & Sons.'

“thirty years in this industry has given us an unrivalled range”

During the 80's the company added typesetting to it's facilities, using the very latest in electronic photocomposition to great effect and expanding its client base to include major UK publishers such as Dorling Kindersley, Walker Books, Oxford University Press and Marshall Cavendish.

The 80's and early 90's saw an expansion of the client base taking in a substantial number of the major UK publishing houses and moving into the 'new age' of digital media. At the same time the company began training courses for publishing clients, caught up in the transfer from conventional to digital media, culminating in one of the director's being retained as a guest lecturer at 'The Oxford Media College'.

The late 90's saw the successful addition of a multi-disciplined design section which provides

fresh, high-end design for a constantly growing client base. Also the creation of our own 'data management' software 'ddm', to catalogue, index and distribute electronic files on behalf of clients.

“thirty years in this industry has given us an unrivalled range”

The dawn of the new millennium saw the company embrace all the best of digital technology and gradually evolve into its present form. Employing the best people in all areas of digital expertise, we have built on the base of sound practices, established over thirty years in the print/publishing industry to offer a full range of services from photography through design to the final printed product, web-site, CD or DVD.

Our scanning and colour experience has given us a unique place in the 'Fine Art Reproduction' world, where we have been able to obtain results that have had artists finding it hard to believe that what we have shown them, is a reproduction of their work. The results we obtain using the latest 7-colour 'Gigclee' printers is truly amazing.
